Fellowship of Christian Athletes Champions of Character Breakfast
The first official event during championship week in Rome, Ga. was the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Breakfast in The Forum. The keynote speaker was Shorter College head coach Phil Jones, the 2008 FCA Grant Teaff National Coach of the Year.

Champions of Character Activity
Lindenwood's coaches and players spent the rest of the morning visiting two local elementary schools to visit with youths in the area. The activity was part of the NAIA's Champions of Character program, which instills an understanding of character values in sports.

Welcome Dinner
Lindenwood gets treated to a wonderful dinner by the First Presbyterian Church of Rome. Head men's basketball coach at Shorter, Chad Warner, is the guest speaker. Stat of the Day: Teams hosted by the First Presbyterian Church of Rome are undefeated in the championship game (1-0).

Friday
Rain has forced several changes to Lindenwood's schedule on Friday, including cancelling the morning walk through at Barron Stadium and the evening's FanFest. The highlight will come this evening at the Champions of Character Banquet, the final official event before kickoff.
