The No. 15 Lindenwood men's golf team started its spring season by finishing ninth at the Arizona Intercollegiate, an event hosted by Southern Nazarene.
The Lions improved in each of their three rounds. After opening with a 305, they then shot 300 in round two and finished with a 297. The 13-team tournament included eight nationally-ranked teams, and Lions finished ahead of one of the ranked squads, No. 7 British Columbia.
Individually,
Paul Colditz led the team with a four-over 220. He tied for eighth overall after rounds of 75, 72, and 73.
Alex Hauser had the best single round for Lindenwood with a two-under 70 in the third round. He finished tied for 22nd overall with a 224.
Richard Docherty tied for 39th with a 230,
Morgan Leigh tied for 44th with a 231, and
Lourens Kleynhaus tied for 46th with a 232.
