Men's Golf Has Consistent Tournament And Finishes Fifth

The Lindenwood men's golf team used consistency to finish fifth out of 17 teams at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate. The Lions shot two under-300 rounds as a team and all five golfers were within three shots of each other at the event. 

Lindenwood shot a team score of 597. It opened with a 298 and then shot a 299 for the final round. The team was in sixth-place after day one before moving up one spot on Saturday. 

Lourens Kleynhaus led Lindenwood with a 148 which tied him for 19th place. He shot identical rounds of 74 on the par 72 course. Morgan Leigh was one shot behind Kleynhaus after rounds of 74 and 75 and he tied for 24th overall. Paul Colditz and Alex Hauser tied for 34th after both shot 75 for both rounds. Richard Docherty tied for 41st with a 151 after rounds of 76 and 75.
