The Lindenwood football team will end its 2017 season on Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. game in Hunter Stadium against Central Missouri. Prior to the game, 19 Lindenwood seniors will be honored for their contributions to the program.

Derik Abbott
Derik Abbott is in his first season on the Lindenwood football roster, and has been a backup quarterback on the 2017 team. Abbott was a member of the Robert Morris University football team from 2012-15.

Roberto Avila
Robert Avila is in his second season as an offensive lineman with the Lions. In his career, he has played in eight games. During his junior season, Avila started two games. As a senior, he has served as the team's backup center. Avila transferred from Cerritos College, where he appeared in eight contests.

Andrew Bair
Andrew Bair is in his fifth season on the Lindenwood roster. He has appeared in 36 games as the team's long snapper, and has made seven tackles. He has been named Lindenwood's Special Teams Player of the Game in six contests in his career, including the Central Oklahoma game this year. Bair currently leads the active roster by playing in 31 consecutive games entering this weekend.

Bryon Beal
Bryon Beal is in his third year as a Lion, playing on the team's defensive line. He has appeared in 14 games over the last two years, including every game this season. Beal has collected 10 tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss. He played a key role in a goal-line stand against Missouri Western last year, making a tackle for loss, and then forcing a fumble later in the drive. This season, Beal was named the team's Special Teams Player of the Game versus Northwest Missouri.

D'Harius Brown
D'Harius Brown is in his second year on the Lindenwood roster. After redshirting last season, he has played in nine games this season, mostly as a special teams contributor. Brown has returned six kickoffs for 24.2 yards per return. He has also made five tackles on kickoff coverage, and rushed three times for 18 yards on offense.

Calen Campbell
Calen Campbell is in his third season as a running back for the Lions. He has appeared in 23 games, and ranks eighth in Lindenwood history with 1,253 rushing yards. Campbell is having his best season this year, rushing for nearly 60 yards a game and having eight of his 12 career touchdowns. Last season, he was an honorable mention all-MIAA pick after rushing for over 500 yards. Five times in his career, Campbell was named the team's Offensive Player of the Game. Campbell has four 100-yard rushing games in his career, including a career-high 146 last season against Northeastern State.

Keith Crawford
Keith Crawford is in his second season on the Lindenwood roster. The offensive lineman has played in 14 games, and started 11 contests. In his first year after transferring from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Crawford played in eight games and became a starter late in the season. He was named the team's Offensive Player of the Game against Fort Hays State. This season, Crawford started the first six games of the season.

Nick Granberry
Nick Granberry has been a member of the Lindenwood football team for the last five years. In his career, the defensive lineman has played in 32 games, including 10 starts the last two seasons. Granberry has recorded 55 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He was named the team's Defensive Player of the Week against Fort Hays State in 2016. Granberry's top season came in his junior season when he had 27 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. This season, he has 14 tackles and recovered a fumble in the Emporia State game.

Derek Gurnea
Derek Gurnea is in his fifth season on the Lindenwood roster. The offensive lineman has played in 29 games in his career, and started 25 of those games. He was a primary starter on the offensive line from 2014-2016, including starting every 10 games that he appeared during his junior campaign. This season, Gurnea has appeared in the Northeastern State before being sidelined with an injury.

Deantrell Prince
Deantrell Prince is in his second year as a wide receiver on the Lions football team. In 20 games, he has caught 95 passes for 1,215 yards, and 12 touchdown passes. In just two seasons, Prince ranks 10th at Lindenwood in career receptions. In 2016, Prince was named an honorable mention all-MIAA pick after catching 51 passes for 579 yards and eight touchdowns. This season, he has already caught 44 passes for 636 yards and four touchdowns. Prince has been named the team's Offensive Player of the Game twice in his career, and he has four career 100-yard receiving games.

Ace Rogers
Ace Rogers is in his first season as a Lion after transferring from Big Ten Minnesota. The defensive back has been one of the team's defensive leaders this year. Rogers has collected 66 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception, eight pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble. He was named the team's Defensive Player of the Game against Pittsburg State and Nebraska-Kearney.

Kendell Sparks
Kendell Sparks is in his third year on the Lindenwood roster. After redshirting the 2015 campaign, the wide receiver has played in 21 games the last two seasons, including 20 starts. Sparks has caught 100 passes for 860 yards and six touchdowns the last two years. He is also averaging 25.0 yards per kickoff return and 13.1 yard per punt returns. Sparks is in Lindenwood's career record books as ninth in career receptions, fourth in career kickoff return yards, and seventh in career punt return yards. Sparks was a third-team all-MIAA return specialist last year, and was a three-time team Special Teams Player of the Week.

Calwaun Street
Calwaun Street is in his second year as a linebacker on the Lions football team. Street has played in all 21 games the last two seasons, and he has 24 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup. Besides being a backup linebacker, Street has been a key special teams performer, making five tackles on kickoff coverage. Street has made 12 tackles in each of his seasons, and had his tackles for loss last year in the redzone against Fort Hays State.

Bakari Triggs
Bakari Triggs is in his third year as a Lion, and the defensive back has earned two all-MIAA honors. As a sophomore, he was an honorable mention selection, and last year he earned third-team accolades. Triggs has played and started 30 games, and he has collected 173 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 10 interceptions, 27 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He ranks in the top-10 all-time in MIAA history in pass breakups. His 10 interceptions is the fourth-most in Lindenwood history, and his 241 interception return yards is the second-most. Triggs has also been a special teams returner. He ranks second in Lindenwood history with 1,074 kickoff return yards, and he averages 23.3 yards per kickoff returns. Triggs has five career touchdowns, with three interception return scores, one fumble return touchdown, and one kickoff return touchdown.

DeSean Warren
DeSean Warren has been a Lion for the last three years at the wide receiver position. Warren has played in 29 games, with 28 starts, and has collected 80 receptions for 1,453 yards, and nine touchdowns. Warren ranks tenth in Lindenwood history in career receiving yards. Last season, Warren led the nation by averaging 26.1 yards per catch and was an honorable mention all-MIAA pick. This season, he has 26 receptions in eight games for 357 yards and four touchdowns. In his career, he was been named the team's Offensive Player of the Game three times, and he has four career 100-yard receiving games.

Shakeem Wharton
Shakeem Wharton is in his second season as a running back for the Lindenwood football program. He has appeared in 19 games as a Lion, and has rushed for 685 yards and eight touchdowns. Wharton also has 20 receptions for 145 yards and one more touchdown. He is having his most productive season this year, averaging 5.0 yards per carry and being second on the team with seven touchdowns. He has two 100-yard rushing games in the wins over Northeastern State and Pittsburg State.

Akil Williams
Akil Williams is in his fifth season as a Lion. The offensive lineman leads the current roster with 39 games played and 33 starts. After redshirting his first season, Williams was a starter in nine games as a redshirt freshman at the right guard position. As a sophomore, Williams started all 11 games during the 2015 season. In his junior season, he switched to center late in the year. This season, Williams has been one of the team's top offensive lineman. He has played mostly at the center position, and started all nine games that he played in. Williams was named the team's Offensive Player of the Game versus Northeastern State and Nebraska-Kearney.

Orlando Woolens
Orlando Woolens is a five-year player for Lindenwood at the defensive back position, and has also been an important special teams player for the Lions. He has played in 31 games in his career, and has 11 tackles, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. Seven of the tackles in his career have come on special teams, and he recovered a fumble on kickoff coverage this year against Washburn.

Kirk Young
Kirk Young is in his third season on the Lindenwood roster. Young was a defensive back, and also a key special teams player. Young has appeared in 18 games, including all 10 this season, and he has 13 tackles. He has 11 tackles on special teams, and he leads the team this year with seven tackles on kickoff coverage. Four times in his career, including this year's Pittsburg State and Fort Hays State games, he has made two tackles in a game.
