The Lindenwood gymnastics team hit the 194 mark for the third straight week, this time accomplishing the feat in a quad meet on Friday night in Columbia, Mo.

The Lady Lions came in fourth but had a strong showing against three top-25 NCAA Division I programs. Lindenwood had a score of 194.100, just 0.250 points behind No. 14 George Washington. Big 12 Iowa State, which was ranked 25th, was runner-up with a 195.350, and the host school and No. 13 Missouri Tigers won the event with a 195.725.

Lindenwood had a consistent night, recording a team score between 48.150 and 48.800 in all four events. The Lady Lions' top two events opened and closed the evening. The team started on the floor and had each of its top-five scores of 9.650 or higher.
Katey Oswalt led the way with a 9.825, the second-highest mark on the floor for a Lindenwood individual this season.

The Lady Lions were even better on their final event, scoring a 48.800 on the beam. Emily Millet had the best performance of her career, with a 9.850. That mark was the second-highest for any individual on the night.
Kierstin Sokolowski also had a strong routine, recording a 9.800.

Lindenwood's vault score was a 48.450, paced by Sokolwoski's 9.850. That mark tied for the second-highest overall in the quad meet. On the bars, the Lady Lions had a 48.150, led by matching 9.700 marks by
Andavea Alexander and
Aubree Horn.

Besides her bars routine, Horn also had a 9.775 on the vault, the second-high score on the team.
Breanna Franklin had a 9.700 or higher in all three of her events, highlighted by a 9.750 on the beam.
Ryan Henry had an all-around score of 38.600, including a 9.750 on the floor. Alexander had three scores of 9.675 or higher, led by a 9.750 on the floor.

The Lady Lions will be in action in St. Charles next Friday at 2 p.m. at the GymQuarters Invitational in the Family Arena. Lindenwood takes on Big Ten Nebraska, as well as Seattle Pacific and Brown.
