Lindenwood scored in each of its first five innings as it built a large lead early in the game. The Lions jumped out to a 7-0 advantage after three innings, before Southern Arkansas finally got on the board with three runs in the fourth inning.

In one of the biggest moments of the game, Conor Behrens drew a two-out walk in the bottom half of that inning. Singbush followed with a two-run homer to left center to give Lindenwood its momentum back.

The Lions would break the game open in the fifth with five runs, and five different batters recorded an RBI in that inning. Every Lindenwood player had at least one hit and one run in the game, and seven different players had at least one RBI. The Lions finished with 19 hits in the game.

Singbush led the team by going two-for-four with four RBI and three runs. Ryan Sosnowski had three RBI and two runs. Wes Degener, Tyler Muehling, and Kyle Teter each had three hits in the game.

On the mound, Brendan Feldmann earned the win after pitching the first eight innings. He allowed nine hits and five runs. Feldmann struck out nine batters and did not walk anyone. Blake Beckmann completed the final inning for Lindenwood.
