Lindenwood University Athletics

The 2005 men's bowling team won the first USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship (ITC) national title in Lindenwood bowling program history.  The Lions finished the 2004-05 season 14^th in the men's team national power rankings, just the second time ever in top 16 at the time.  Lindenwood entered the national championship tournament as a dark horse but upset the three seed, the sixth seed, the No. 2 seed, and beat the eighth seed in the televised title match.
