The men's swimming 400-yard medley relay team won the 2006 NAIA National Championship, the first swimming relay national championship in program history. The team of Thomas Bourdin, Ivo Ivanov, Jonathan Lau, and Christopher Ricketts swam the finals in 3:28.29 to win the title.
That quartet earned three All-American awards in 2006 and 2007. They finished second in the 200-yard medley relay in 2006 and came in third in the 400-yard medley relay the next season. The four swimmers also won three Liberal Arts Championships in 2006 and 2007. The members of the relay team helped Lindenwood finish as runner-up in the nation at the 2006 and 2007 NAIA National Championships.
The head coach of the men's swimming 400 medley relay team was Craig Penrose.
