The 2011 NAIA small coed cheerleading team was the first cheer team at Lindenwood to win a national championship title, and it also captured a HAAC Championship in its final year in the league. At the national championships, it moved into first place during the preliminary round and stayed in first throughout the finals. Among the teams Lindenwood defeated was Oklahoma City, the four-time defending national champion. The team included three cheerleaders who would win NCA All-American honors.
The head coach of the 2011 cheerleading team was Carrie Nichols.
