Lindenwood University Athletics

The 2015 Lindenwood Large Coed Cheer program became the program's first National Championship squad since 2011, as they secured their national title at the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Lions captured their crown with a score of 91.73, edging Columbus State by just 0.38.  After advancing through the preliminaries in first place, the team performed a solid routine, earning the highest marks for baskets, pyramids, and tumbling. Lindenwood was rewarded for minimizing mistakes during their performance with less than a point of deductions as it advanced to the title.
