Alecia McGillivray was a member of the Lindenwood women's swimming and diving team from 2013-17 and became Lindenwood's first individual NCAA National Champion in any sport after winning the 1000 free and 1650 free titles at the 2015 National Championships. McGillivray concluded her Lindenwood career as the record holder in seven different events, two of which remain today, 500 free (4:47.3) and 1650 free (16:34.40). McGillivray earned All-American honors in 10 different events over the course of her four-year Lindenwood career. McGillivray was recognized multiple times as Lindenwood's Most Valuable Swimmer and earned the 2015-16 RMAC Swimmer of the Year award and the 2013-14 NSIC Freshman of the Year.
