Amy Knobloch was a cross country and track athlete for Lindenwood from 1996-99. She won three All-American honors, 18 individual conference championships and was a member of eight conference championship teams. Knobloch still holds many of Lindenwood’s distance records. Knobloch’s top highlight came in 1998 when she won the NAIA marathon, running a time of 2:57:23 and winning the race by over seven minutes. Her other All-American honors came during the 1997 Indoor Championship when she was fifth in the 1,600m and 6th in the 5,000m. She also had top-10 national finishes in the 1996 outdoor 5,000 and 1997 outdoor 5,000m and 10,000m. Knobloch’s top cross country showing was finishing 33rd at the 1998 NAIA Cross Country Championship.
