Brant Bruner was the first four-time All-American wrestler at Lindenwood and one of just two Lions to achieve that honor. Bruner is also among a select group that has won two individual national championships. Bruner began his career in 2000 by winning a national championship at 125 pounds. He moved up to 133 pounds the next year and finished third at the 2001 and 2002 national events. He capped off his career by winning the 133 pounds national championship in 2003. Bruner was a key member of the Lions team which won the 2002 national championship and he helped the 2003 squad finish second in the nation.
