Cory Arentsen was a member of the Lindenwood men's basketball for two seasons from 2014-2016. During his two-year career as a Lion, Arentsen solidified his legacy as one of the best shooters in program history, averaging 19.8 points per game while knocking down a staggering 42.4 percent of his attempts from three-point range. As a senior in 2015-16, Arentsen set a school record by averaging 24.2 points a game and set the school mark with a .901 free-throw percentage. He hit 87 three-pointers on the season and shot 48.5 percent from the field and over 40 percent from three-point range. Arentsen also led the team in assists and steals and was third in rebounding. Following his senior campaign, Arentsen was recognized as a first-team all-MIAA and NABC second-team all-region selection.
