Lindenwood University Athletics

James D. Evans, PhD, has been associated with Lindenwood University since 1975 and has played a major role in growing Lindenwood Athletics. Since becoming President in 2006, he has reshaped Lindenwood athletics for future success. Evans authorized the University's application to the NCAA and supported that move with staffing and financial resources. He has also continued Lindenwood's tradition of building some of the top athletics facilities in the country, including the $9 million Student-Athlete Center, which features the school's Academic Success Center. Evans also created the Student Life Sports Department to house the non-NCAA sports programs. He has continued to fund that department with ample resources to ensure it is the most successful Student Life Sports program in the nation.
