Karen Peer (’00) was an outfielder for some of the top softball teams in school history from 1997-2000. Lindenwood won 157 games and three HAAC Championships during her career. In 1998 and 2000, Peer helped the program finish fifth at the national tournament, and in 1999 the Lady Lions came in ninth.

Peer was named a NAIA first-team All-American in 1998 after she batted .445 for the season and helped Lindenwood go 43-7. She was also a three-time All-HAAC and two-time all-region selection.
