In a battle of two ranked teams the Lindenwood Lady Lions, the No. 16 ranked team in the country, beat the No. 8 team Trinity Christian in overtime, 2-1.

It didn't take the Lady Lions long to win it. Just 30 seconds into overtime Kendall Kravec scored after a perfect pass from Ashley Tankersley for the big win.

The Lions had a lead with under three minutes to play in regulation until Errika Comerouski scored to tie the game up. Lindenwood's first goal was scored by Lindsay Shea, her fifth of the year.

Lady Lion goalie Jessica Morelli stopped all but one of the Trolls' five shots to win her second game of the year. The win moved to the Lady Lions record to 3-1 and Trinity dropped to 1-2-2.

Next up for the Lions is a home game against McKendree on September 17th at 7:30 p.m.
