Women's Volleyball Defeats Graceland in Five

The No. 22 Lindenwood volleyball team started slow against Graceland, but finished strong to knock off the Yellowjackets on the road today, 3-2. The Lions dropped the first two games, only to storm back, winning three straight sets to remain undefeated in conference play.

The Lions were led by Krista Yoder, who contributed with 15 kills and 10 blocks. Ellen Fandry led the team in kills with 16 and Kelsey Kennedy added nine. Alyssa Showers had a season high 31 digs and Patricia Erb tallied 12. Kelsey Biggs recorded 13 digs and 46 assists to lead the victors. Up front, Victoria Krause totaled six blocks and both Kelsey Jo Vogler and Kennedy, each had five apiece.

Lindenwood (14-6, 3-0) will travel to Missouri Valley this Tuesday for a HAAC matchup scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
