Women's Volleyball Remains Perfect in Conference Play

The Lindenwood volleyball team improved to 4-0 in conference play, defeating Missouri Valley on the road this evening. The Lions punished the Vikings up front, with five player recording double digit kills, winning by scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-23. 

Krista Yoder and Kelsey Jo Vogler each had 15 kills to lead the Lions. Victoria Krause had 12, Ellen Fandry netted 11 and Kelsey Kennedy added 10. Alyssa Showers had 28 digs and Kelsey Biggs tallied 20. Biggs also had a season high 54 assists. Vogler led the team in blocks with four.

The Lions, who are currently ranked 20th in the latest NAIA poll, will return home to host the eighth annual Lindenwood Invitational this weekend. Twelve teams will be participating in all. Lindenwood (15-6, 4-0) will play Friday at 3:00 p.m. against the University of Saint Francis (Ill.).
