The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team dominated Southern Nazarene from the opening kickoff on its way to a 4-0 win on Friday night at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium.
Lindenwood scored the first goal 20 minutes in when
Paige Hickey buried a pass from
Amanda Cassano. To close out the half,
Kayla Thomas scored to make the lead 2-0 heading into the locker room.
The second half was much of the same as Thomas scored her second goal of the game to give the Lady Lions a commanding 3-0 lead.
Kendall Kravec netted her first goal of the season to finish off Southern Nazarene 4-0.
With the win the Lady Lions improve their record to 2-1 and will next have a match-up with Illinois Institute of Technology on Sunday afternoon in St. Charles.
