The shotgun sports team hosted the Lindenwood Open at the Black Hawk Valley Preserve in Old Monroe, Missouri November 5.  The event featured special sporting clay and 5-stand competition for outside shooters and served as a fundraiser for the Lindenwood program. 
 
Participants shot a variety of targets in the 100 shot competition with prizes being awarded to the top performers.  Lindenwood team members showed off their skills in a shooting demonstration and also accompanied participants to provide shooting tips and assist with scoring. 
 
The Lindenwood Open, which is an annual event, attracted participants from as far away as Kansas City, Missouri this year.
