Nicole Hensley Earns Fifth CHA Weekly Award

Women's hockey player Nicole Hensley added one more CHA Rookie of the Week award to her honors for the 2012-13 season. She won the award five times this year, including four since the start of February.

Nicole Hensley had a .960 save percentage and a 1.83 GAA in three games last week. She went 1-1-0 in the series with Syracuse, including making 42 of 43 saves in Lindenwood's 2-1 win on Tuesday, the first win for Lindenwood over the Orange. In game one of the CHA Tournament against Robert Morris, she made 90 saves, 12 more than the NCAA Division I record for a game. The 90 saves set a CHA Tournament single-game and single-tournament record, and was a new Lindenwood single-game record. She had a .978 save percentage in that contest. For the week, Hensley made 168 saves and went over 1,000 saves for the season.

Hensley finished the season with a .922 save percentage and she recorded 1083 saves on the year, which is a new Lindenwood single-season record.
