The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams each picked up wins against the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday afternoon.
The men's team beat the Tritons 127-67, while the women picked up a 138-54 win. Both teams combined for 18 total victories on Saturday.
For the women,
Simone de Rijcke picked up first-place finishes in the 500-yd freestyle and the 1000-yd freestyle, while
Ola Tomala picked up first-place honors in the 200-yd freestyle and the 100-yd freestyle. The women's team also picked up wins in the 400-yd medley relay and the 400-yd freestyle relay.
For the men, Chris Holmes picked a first-place finish in the 1000-yd freestyle, Matheus Isidro picked up a victory in the 200-yd freestyle, and
Justin Winnett won the 50-yd freestyle. Other notable swimmers include
Blake Logan, Christian Vasquez,
Justin Winnett, and
Haoning Chen who all picked up first place finishes in their respective events.
Lindenwood will compete in the Delta State Christmas Invitational on December 29 in Cleveland, Mississippi.
