Lindenwood women's swimming & diving was named the 2021 GLVC Swimming & Diving Champions for the first time in program history after scoring 1,781 points at the GLVC Championships. The men's team finished 3rd of 10 with 1,393 points. Head coach

- Maruszczyk captured the gold medal in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a finals time of 1:48.81.
- Winnett, competing in the 100 Yard Butterfly, earned the silver medal with a finals time of 54.68.
- Marks, Maruszczyk, Winnett and Votova finished 3rd in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a Provisional time of 3:45.12, earning the bronze medal.
- Lyssa Wood finished 4th in the 400 Yard IM with a time of 4:23.62.
DAY 2 MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Irwin secured the silver medal in the 100 Yard Butterfly for Lindenwood with a time of 48.13.
- The quad of Mateos-Mongelos, Brown, Irwin and Linder came in 2nd in the 400 Yard Medley Relay, tallying a Provisional time of 3:12.26.
- Mateos-Mongelos finished 3rd in the 400 Yard IM with a time of 3:48.38.
- Dylan Callaghan competed in the 3 Meter Dive for the Lions, finishing 5th.
DAY 3 WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Maruszczyk notched another gold medal, her second through the first three days, with a 1st-place finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
- Christie finished 2nd in the 3 Meter Dive, securing herself the league's Co-Diver of the Year honor. Teammate Winnett finished 3rd in the event, earning the bronze medal.
- Stephanie Marks captured the bronze medal with a 3rd-place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke.
- Rodrigues, Camilla Rimmereide, Hellenschmidt, and Maruszczyk secured the bronze medal in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 7:25.98.
- Hellenschmidt earned herself 4th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:53.64.
DAY 3 MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Vincent Jaworski, Olsson, Mateos-Mongelos, and Winiatowski teamed up in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, finishing 2nd, and capturing the silver medal.
- Brown earned the bronze medal with a 3rd-place finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
- Mateos-Mongelos finished in 4th in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:25.85.
DAY 4 WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Maruszczyk secured a gold medal for the third-consecutive day with a 1st-place finish in the 200 Yard Breaststroke, with a time of 2:13.72.
- Votova, Marks, Siemiller, and Winnett combined for a 2nd-place finish in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, earning the silver medal.
- Rodrigues finished 3rd in the 1650 Yard Freestyle with a time of 16:54.51.
DAY 4 MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Hanzal earned the silver medal in the 1650 Yard Freestyle with a time of 15:32.48.
- Brown secured 2nd place in the 200 Yard Breaststroke, finishing in 1:58.60.
- Kedzia finished 4th in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a 1:45.92 finals time.

ABOUT THE GLVC JAMES R. SPALDING SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
The student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
