It was the
Kendall Kravec show on Saturday night as the Lindenwood Lady Lion soccer team upset the No. 15 ranked Baker Wildcats, 3-1.
Kravec scored all three of the Lions goals and the hat trick was her first of the year. Her first two goals came only one minute apart in the 28th minute to give the Lady Lions the early lead. The Lions held a 2-0 lead but the Wildcats would cut the lead in half at the 38 minute mark when Jen Sampson would beat Lion goalie
Jessica Morelli. The game would go the half with the Lady Lions up a goal.
The second half was a half that was dominated by Lindenwood. Kravec would score the game-clincher in 51st minute after Ahley Tankersley fed her a perfect pass to help seal the win. The win was the third time the Lady Lions have beat a ranked team.
With the win the Lions move into a tie for fourth place in the HAAC with an overall record of 6-6-1 and a 3-2-1 record in conference play. If the Lady Lions can move into third place they could host a postseason game at home. Up next for the Lady Lions is a home game against Central Methodist on Tuesday.
