The Lindenwood University Athletics Department announced that they have partnered with Empyr Coffee and will be launching a Lindenwood coffee brand known as Roar Roast.
"Partnering with Empyr Coffee to launch our Lindenwood Coffee brand is an exciting new project that keeps extending our brand to our St. Charles community," said Senior Associate Athletic DirectorÂ
Jameson Adams. "This collaborative effort with Empyr gives Lindenwood another opportunity to engage with our fans while pushing the boundaries of the ever changing landscape of college athletics."
There will be two different types of Roar Roast which includes Colombian Medium and Brazilian Dark Roast. The Colombian Medium Roast is grown in the verdant mountains of Huila & Antioquia, and delivers a balanced, approachable cup of coffee with depth and character. Careful washing, sun-drying, and milling bring forward notes of milk chocolate, roasted almonds, and a subtle citrus lift.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Dark Roast is selected from Brazil's renowned growing regions, which offers a rich, full-bodied cup with a grounded, satisfying finish. Washed processing and sun-drying deepen the Dark Roast flavor, revealing notes of milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and soft caramel.
Twelve ounce whole bean or ground bags are available for purchase for $20 each, and there are K-cups also available. A 30 pack of K-Cups is $30 and a 100 pack is on sale for $90. The Roar Roast is available online at lindenwoodcoffee.com.
