Mission Statement
The mission of the Lindenwood Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, communicating ideas to the Athletic Department administration, heightening community outreach initiatives, and fostering the holistic growth and development of student-athletes.  
 
Membership
Each coaching staff will select up to two representatives for their team before the start of each fall term.  Student-athletes must be eligible to compete and good academic standing in order to serve.  The two team representatives are responsible for serving as the voice of and for their fellow student-athletes and have a direct communication line to administration as part of SAAC.  Team representatives are responsible for attending meetings and communicating information both from their teammates to the administration and from SAAC back to their teammates.
 
Meetings
Meetings are held throughout the semester on Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm.  Meetings are open to all coaches, student-athletes, and administrative staff.  Please contact Sienna King (smk102@lindenwood.edu) for a list of meeting dates and locations. 
 
Hoops For Heros. 50/50 Raffle

The Hoops for Heroes initiative looks to honor veterans from Ohio Valley Conference schools that have served in the military. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) of the OVC selects a representative and invites them to attend the OVC Basketball Championships. The veteran honored is either a current student, alumni, or a parent of an active duty military member.
 
The Hoops for Heroes Initiative is great vehicle to recognize those in the OVC community who sacrifice so much for our freedom.
