The Lindenwood men's soccer team won their third game in a row on Saturday night with a 2-0 shutout win over Avila University in Kansas City, Mo.
Hannes Backstrom got the scoring going for the Lions with his second goal of the year and
Kristijan Kristo would put the game away with his first goal of the year. Goalie
Victor Francoz stopped everything the Eagles threw at him and recorded his second shutout of the season.
With the win the Lions improved their record to 4-5-1 and 2-0 in conference play. The Lions will now look to even their record on Tuesday night against Culver-Stockton at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium.
