In the second game of a back-to-back set, the Lions' soccer team lost to Northeastern State, 1-0.

The game was back and forth for most of the tilt until Northeastern's Sam Rennals scored to take the lead and it was one they would not relinquish. Lion goalie Victor Francoz played well stopping all but one of the shots against him.

The loss dropped the Lions to 1-5-1 on the year. Next up is home game on September 18th against Harris Stowe.
