The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team took on visiting William Jewell on Saturday night at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium and fell in a hard fought game 1-0.

William Jewell scored the first goal of the game just 15 minutes in. Lindenwood had numerous chances to tie the score in the first half but could not put one in the back of the net. The game would stay tied heading into the second half.

Lindenwood continue to put pressure on the Cardinals in the final half but could not get the equalizer. William Jewell would hold on for the 1-0 win.

With the loss the Lady Lions drop to 4-6-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play. Lindenwood will not have much time to think about the loss as the team will take on Missouri Baptist in a non-conference game Wednesday night at home.
