The Lady Lions soccer team fell to Baker on Saturday night by a 2-0 score in a Heart of America Athletic Conference contest.

Baker controlled play throughout the game and it paid off in the 20th minute with a goal. The Wildcats then added a second goal 18 minutes later for a 2-0 halftime lead. In the second-half, Baker only allowed one Lindenwood shot as it sealed the shutout.

Whitney Calv took the loss in goal, making five saves. Paige Hickey had the lone shot on goal for the Lady Lions as Lindenwood was outshot 7-1 on shots on goal for the game.

Lindenwood falls to 5-9-1 on the season, and 2-3-1 in conference play. The team plays next on Wednesday, when they travel to Fayette, Mo., to take on Central Methodist.
