Storyline
This first two games of the
Tony Francis era started with a pair of wins with the Lady Lions beating Lindenwood-Belleville and Harris-Stowe.
Now the Lady Lions will have their first big test of the new season. The team will host No. 25 McKendree at home. After the Bearcats the Lady Lions will be back on the road against Missouri Baptist.
The contest against McKendree will be the first game for the team against a ranked opponent. This is the first time since 2008-09 that the team has one its first two games and if Lady Lions can win against McKendree and Missouri-Baptist it would the best start the program has had in the last five seasons.

In the first two games of the young season Coach Francis has gotten a lot of scoring from everybody on the roster. Every single Lady Lion has played and has scored at least two points in both wins. Leading the way is
Morgan Harrington who is averaging 14.5 points.
