The No. 1 Lindenwood women's ice hockey team cruised past Western Michigan 17-0 Sunday afternoon at the Lindenwood Ice Hockey Arena. The win improved the team to 8-1-1 in the CCWHA.
A total of 12 different Lady Lions scored in the win.
Kendra Ganchar,
Allysson Arcibal,
Miranda Schrock,
Kyley Engstrom, and
Brett Lobreau all scored two goals apiece to lead the offensive surge.
Kayetoinette Stock earned the win, posting the third straight shutout by a Lindenwood goalie. The Lady Lions outshot the Broncos 45-8.
On Saturday, Lindenwood dismantled Western Michigan 13-0.
Ashley Rebeck led the way for the Lady Lions with four goals and two assists.

Brett Lobreau each found the back of the net twice for Lindenwood. Other goal scorers were

Shannon Murphy, and
Allysson Arcibal.
Rebecca Bernet stopped all 12 shots she faced to earn the shutout win. The Lady Lions outshot the Broncos 49-12.
Lindenwood finishes the first half of its schedule with a mark of 17-1-1, and will return to action on Jan. 8th when the team travels to Augsburg for a pair of games.
