The Lion Line dance team had a successful showing at the Universal Dance Association's College Cheer and Dance Camp. The camp was held from August 5-8 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The Lion Line received the Leadership Award in the Open Division, which is the camp's most prestigious award that is voted on by the other teams. The dance squad also received second place in the Open Division Home Routine, a Superior Trophy for earning all blue ribbons on individual routines, and the Open Division Most Collegiate award.

The Lion Line will enter the 2010-11 school year as the three-time defending champions in the Hip Hop competition at their national competition.
