The Lions soccer squad earned a sweep during its trip to Oakland City, Ind. after picking up a 2-1 neutral site victory over Cumberland on Saturday afternoon.
Mauricio Medina and
Alexander Rivera collected goals for Lindenwood.
Victor Francoz earned the win in goal after allowing just one shot past him.
Lindenwood improves to 6-1 on the season, a hot start led by its defense. The Lions have allowed just five goals on the year, including two in the last four contests.
The Lions are in action again next Wednesday when they travel to nationally-ranked Columbia for a 7 p.m. contest.
