The No. 23 ranked Lindenwood men's soccer team went on the road to Columbia, Mo. Wednesday night and fell in a heartbreaker to Columbia College 1-0 in double overtime.
Neither team could dent the scoreboard through 100 minutes of play. With just two minutes to play in double overtime Edgar Reyna would score to give the Cougars the upset win.
The Lions would compile five shots on goal while Columbia College would tally three. Victor Francoz started in the net for the Lions and surrendered just one goal while stopping two shots.
With the loss the Lions drop to 6-2 overall and will take on MidAmerica Nazarene Saturday afternoon at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium.
