Box Score The Lindenwood Lions men's soccer team fell to the McKendree Bearcats 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in St. Charles, Mo.

Both teams played a very defensive first half and combined for just four shots. The game headed in to the halftime break scoreless.

The second half started just like the first ended. It wasn't until the 65^th minute when McKendree was finally able to put a ball in the net. Sam James put a header just inside the post to give the Bearcats the lead.

The Lions pressured the Bearcats defense late in the second half but could not get the equalizer.

Franc Sanz started in the net for Lindenwood and surrendered just the one goal, while making three saves.

With the loss the Lions fell to 4-6 on the year. Up next, for Lindenwood is a home game against Park University on Wednesday night at Hunter Stadium.
