Truman got on the scoreboard first after Nick Franta scored in the 34
th minute. That was the only scoring in the opening half.
Trailing by a goal Lindenwood tied the score in the 72
nd minute when
Craig McTear scored his third goal of the season. Just three minutes later Tiago Pereira gave the Lions the lead. Lindenwood was able to hold on and beat Truman for the second time this season.
Franc Sanz started in the net for the Lions and made four saves while giving up just one goal.
With the win Lindenwood has now won five games in a row and have an overall record of 9-7. Up next for the Lions is a home game against Columbia College on October 26
th.
