Box Score The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team played its toughest opponent of the season on Sunday afternoon and fell to No. 12 Central Missouri 4-0. The loss snapped Lindenwood's four-game winning streak.
It did not take Central Missouri long to get on the scoreboard, just nine minutes into the game Carly Stanley scored to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. The Jennies scored two more goals before the half came to a close.
It was just three minutes into the second half when Central Missouri scored its fourth goal of the contest. Central Missouri dominated play outshooting Lindenwood 17-3.
Today's home game was the final home game for seven seniors.

The loss drops the Lady Lions to 8-4-2. Up next for Lindenwood is a road game against Northwest Missouri on October 22.
