Box Score The Lindenwood Lady Lions basketball team won its second straight game after beating South Dakota School of Mines and Technology 75-70 Friday night in Rapid City, S.D.
South Dakota School of Mines headed into the halftime break with a seven point lead, but the final half was all Lindenwood.
The Lady Lions outscored the Lady Hardrockers 44-32 in the second half and held on for the victory.
Both teams turned the ball over 20 plus times and shot 33 free throws. Lindenwood won the rebounding battle 31-28, and also compiled 11 steals.
Five Lady Lions scored in double figures led by
Sarah Schnieders' 15.
Julie Hlinak scored a career-high 14 points which included going three-for-four from behind the arc.
Marissa Lehnig and Sonya milford each scored 12 points, and
Meagan Hittle scored 10.
With the win the Lady Lions even their record at 2-2. Lindenwood will be right back in action Saturday afternoon against Black Hills State.
