Lady Lions Win Final Game of Trip to Hawaii

Box Score The Lindenwood Lady Lions won the second game of their trip to Hawaii, 77-57 over the Chaminade Silverswords on Friday night in Honolulu, Hawaii.  

The Lady Lions and the Silverwords played most of the first half back and forth. With nine minutes to go, the Lions took the lead 33-32 and never looked back. Lindenwood took the lead into the locker room 38-33.

The final half was all Lindenwood. The Lady Lions extended the lead to as many as 22 in the finial half before rolling to the 20 point victory.

Lindenwood shot 54 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the arc. The Lady Lions did turn the ball over 25 times and forced 21 Chaminade turnovers.

Sarah Schnieders led the way for the Lady Lions with 26 points. Morgan Harrington scored 22 and had five rebounds.

The win improves the team to 7-5. Up next for Lindenwood is a road trip to New Orleans to take on the University of New Orleans on January 7.
