The game between the Cardinals and the Lady Lions could potentially be the final time the two teams will play each other. Both school are making the transition to NCAA Division II.
Last Time Out
Last week the Lady Lions went 1-1 in games against Central Methodist and MidAmerica Nazarene, which were both on the road.
The first game was an 82-69 win over the Central Methodist Eagles. The Lady Lions had their best all-around shooting night against the Eagles. Lindenwood shot 56 percent from the field, 63 percent from behind the arc, and 94 percent from the free throw line.

The second half was much of the same. With seven minutes to go in regulation the two teams would trade the lead back-and-forth along with five ties until the final buzzer of regulation. With the score tied, the game headed into overtime.

Senior Day
On Saturday afternoon, the team will honor four seniors before the game.
Kelly Albers,
Megan Lankford,
Christina Edwards, and Abby Schultenhenrich will all be playing in their final regular season home game.
Albers, Edwards, and Lankford have all been part of the program for the past two seasons. Albers has been in the top two in scoring rebounds the past two years and has been a double-double threat every night. Edwards led the Lady Lions in scoring and rebounds in 2009-10 and is a key contributor off the bench this season. Lankford played one game last season before injuring her knee, but has battled back from that injury and is a key reserve for this year's team.
Abby Schultenhenrich has been a four-year member of the Lady Lions and is in Lindenwood's top 10 in three-pointers made and games played.
Winning Games
With a win on Saturday afternoon the Lady Lions will have won the most games in a season since the 2000-01 team won 20 games. This year's team is two wins away from moving into fifth all-time at Lindenwood for wins in a season. The record is 30 wins held by the 1999-2000 team.
Halftime Lead = Win
If the Lady Lions head into the locker room at halftime with a lead, there is a very good chance the team will earn a victory. In the Lady Lions' 19 wins this season the team has held a halftime lead in 18, and is also 18-0 if leading at the half.
Charity Stripe
Over the last five games, the Lady Lions have shot 77 percent from the free throw line. The lowest percentage in those five contest was 67 percent.
On the season, the Lady Lions are shooting 66 percent as a team. If the Lady Lions stay on this pace the percentage will rank in the top five in school history.
Scoring Is Tops
The Lady Lions are averaging 70.3 points a game, which is tops in the HAAC. When Lindenwood reaches its scoring average the team is 12-1.

Rebounding has been one of the strongest parts of the Lady Lions' game this season. Three times the team has compiled more than 60 rebounds in a game and has outrebounded its opponents in all but five games.

NAIA National Tourney
With the regular season coming to an end many teams in the country are positioning themselves for a bid to the NAIA National Tournament. The HAAC will receive two automatic bids. The first comes from the regular season champion and the second comes from the HAAC Tournament champion. If the winner is the same, the team that finished second in the regular season will receive a bid to the national tourney.
HAAC Tourney
For the 15th consecutive year, Lindenwood will play in the HAAC Tournament. The Lady Lions are locked into the second seed in the tournament and will host a first round game.
