The Lindenwood Lady Lions tied the Newman University Jets 1-1 Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles. 

The Lady Lions got in the scoreboard first when Bailey Cody scored her third goal of the season. The contest stayed tied heading into the break,

In the 58^th minute Newman was able to tie the game after Lorielle Slates capitalized on a scramble in from the Lindenwood net.

The game headed into overtime tied at one. Neither team scored in the first or second overtime and the teams played to a draw.

Whitney Calvin started in the net for the Lady Lions and stopped all but one of the Jets seven shots on goal.

With the tie the Lady Lions record is now 4-0-1. Up next for Lindenwood is a road game against William Jewell on September 21^st.
