For the first time in 2011, the Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team lost. The Lady Lions fell to William Jewell 1-0 Wednesday night in Liberty, Mo.

The first half ended with neither team denting the scoreboard, and it wasn't until the 67^th minute when William Jewell finally broke the scoreless tie. Lindenwood was unable to get the equalizer and fell 1-0.

With the loss the Lady Lions drop to 4-0-1. Up next for Lindenwood is a road game against Emporia State on September 25.
