Gauthier Schilling Wins Final Match Of Lindenwood Career

Sparked by senior Gauthier Schilling, the Lindenwood men's tennis team defeated Missouri Baptist on Tuesday at the Lindenwood Tennis Courts by a 9-0 score.

Schilling, who is graduating in January, was playing his final collegiate match against the Spartans and led off at the No. 1 singles position. He recorded a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Missouri Baptist's Drew Morris. The Lions also took the other five singles matches with wins by Eric Tucoulou, Andrei Masin, Thiago Mastroianni, Johannes Ravenhorst, and Eddy Belhaouane. Those five players combined to lose just three games.

In doubles, the teams of Rabenhorst/Belhaouane, Reeves/Masin, and William Hale/Yoshikazu Ysa were all victorious, with the closest match being 8-3.

Lindenwood concluded its fall schedule with a 2-1 dual mark.
