Lady Lions Fall Behind Early and Can't Recover

The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team gave up three first half goals to Southwest Baptist and eventually fell 4-0 on Thursday night in Bolivar, Mo.

The Bearcats got on the scoreboard first in the 13th minute and just two minutes later took a 2-0 lead. Southwest Baptist closed out the scoring in the opening half with just five second left on the clock. The home team added one more goal in the second half and beat the Lindenwood 4-0.

With the loss the Lady Lions drop to 5-9-1 overall and 1-9 in MIAA play. Lindenwood has just two games to go in the 2012 season and will be on the road at Central Missouri on Oct. 27.
