The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team closed out its 2012 season with a 3-2 loss to McKendree on Tuesday night in Lebanon, Ill.

Lindenwood jumped out to the early 1-0 lead when Kirsten Crabtree scored her third goal of the season. The contest headed into the halftime break with just the one goal scored.

The next two goals were scored by the Bearcats. Six minutes into the final half McKendree scored its first goal, then 15 minutes later took the 2-1 lead.

Trailing by a goal, the Lady Lions scored in the 78^th minute to tie the score. Late in the game it looked as it was going to head into extra time. But with less than four minutes to go in the game Mary Geiger scored to give McKendree the win.

With the loss Lindenwood ends it 2012 season with a record of 5-11-1.
