Box Score The Lindenwood women's hockey team tied at one apiece on Sunday afternoon against CHA opponent RIT.
 
After both teams were held scoreless in the first, Alison Wickenheiser scored an even-strength goal halfway through the second to give Lindenwood the 1-0 advantage. Despite three penalties that plagued the Lady Lions late in the second, Lindenwood held RIT scoreless through the remainder of the period.
 
RIT battled back early in the third period as Tenecia Hiller scored a goal to tie up the game just over a minute into the period. That would prove to be the final goal of the game between the two teams.
 
Kendra Broad recorded the assist on Wickenheiser's goal. Alyssa West led the team with 10 shots and Nicole Hensley saw all 65 minutes in the net while recording 43 saves.
 
The Lady Lions fall to 1-14-1 on the season and 1-4-1 in the CHA. Lindenwood will host Minnesota State-Mankato on January 1 for a non-conference match-up. The contest is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. at the Lindenwood Ice Arena.
