• The Lady Lions travel to Northwest Missouri for the first MIAA game in program history. Lindenwood has 18 MIAA games on its inaugural season.
• This is the first game against Northwest Missouri in Lindenwood history.
• Both squads have fairly young teams. Between the two teams, there are only four seniors and three juniors. Thirteen players on the on both teams combined are freshmen and sophomores.
• Northwest Missouri is averaging over 72 points per contest. Lindenwood is averaging 66.8 points per game.
• A key loss from the 2011-12 Bearcat squad is Abby Henry. Henry averaged a team-high 13.1 points per game and started in all but two games for Northwest.
Lindenwood Notes
• The Lady Lions look to bounce back after a tough loss this past Saturday and to win their first MIAA game of the season.
• Four out of the top five leading scorers are returning from last season. Those four combined for 44.3 total points per game, just less than two-thirds of the team's scoring average.
• Freshman Tori Kuhn is leading the team with 13.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
• The Lady Lions are averaging 10.2 steals per contest this season.
• Kuhn recorded her career-high of 20 points against Missouri-St. Louis.
• The Lady Lions have struggled this season with turnovers. Through the first five games, Lindenwood is averaging 25.0 turnovers compared to 19.0 by its opponents.
• Lindenwood is currently fifth in total rebounds, averaging 41.8 boards per game.
• The Lady Lions are third in the conference in three-point percentage with 41.1. Truman leads the conference, making 42.7 percent of the shots beyond the arc.
• Lindenwood has started the season shooting 41.1 percent from beyond the arc. The Lady Lions are holding their opponents to 32.8 percent.
• Meagan Hittle is leading the conference in three-point percentage. She has made 7-of-10 of those shots.
• After the 2011-12 season, the Lindenwood women's basketball squad was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for its work in the classroom. The team finished with a team GPA of 3.567 which was the seventh-highest GPA in all of NCAA Division II.
• This season marks the inaugural season for the Lady Lions in the MIAA. The MIAA is one of the top basketball conferences in Division II.
• Due to being in NCAA Division II provisional status, the Lady Lions will not have the opportunity to compete at the MIAA conference tournament in March.
• Lindenwood will host Pittsburg State on Saturday, Dec. 8 for its first home MIAA game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Hyland Arena.

• Lindenwood fell to Missouri-St. Louis this past Saturday, 67-62
• Kuhn recorded her second double-double in as many games by having 20 points and 11 rebounds.
• Lindenwood is 0-2 against GLVC teams this season.
• Lindenwood dominated on the boards, outrebounding the Tritons 45-32, but turnovers set the Lady Lions back they turned the ball over 28 times compared to 11 by the Tritons.
• There were nine lead changes and five ties in the game.

Northwest Missouri Notes
• Under Head Coach Mark Kellogg, who is in his first season as a Bearcat, Northwest Missouri has started the 2012-13 season with a 5-2 overall record.
• This is also the first MIAA conference game for the Bearcats.
• Meridee Scott is currently leading the Bearcats offensively. Scott is averaging a team-high 12.7 points and has gone 16-for-18 from the charity stripe.
• So far this season, Annie Mathews leads the team with 7.3 rebounds per contest. She also is contributing double-digit points with 10.
• Four Bearcats are averaging at least 10 points per game.
