Women's Basketball Falls to Northeastern State in Final Road Game

Box Score The Lindenwood women's basketball team fell to No. 14 Northeastern State 65-47 on Saturday afternoon in Tahlequah, Okla.

Lindenwood fell behind early to the Riverhawks and never recovered. Northeastern State outscored the Lady Lions 32-21 in the first half. The home team kept its foot on the gas pedal in the second half and cruised to a victory over Lindenwood.

The Lady Lions shot 39 percent from the field and were just one-for-10 from behind the three point arc. Both teams grabbed 33 rebounds while Lindenwood turned the ball over 15 times.

Caroline Bourlioux led the way on the offensive end of the floor for the Lady Lions. She scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Sarah Schnieders chipped in with 15 points, while Katie Brown led the team with eight rebounds.

The loss drops the Lindenwood to 15-10 on the season. The Lady Lions will be back at home on Feb. 23 against Lindenwood University-Belleville.
